Travel from Olbia to Corfu aboard Running on Waves on an eight-day voyage connecting Sardinia, the Italian coast and the Ionian Islands of Greece.

The journey begins in north-eastern Sardinia before crossing the Tyrrhenian Sea towards Capri, Stromboli, Lipari and Taormina. From Sicily, the ship continues across the Ionian Sea to the turquoise bays of Antipaxi and Paxi, completing the voyage in Corfu. The route brings together dramatic cliffs, volcanic islands, historic towns, clear-water beaches and two full days of tall-ship sailing.

Each destination reveals a different side of the Mediterranean. Capri combines panoramic gardens and Roman heritage, while Stromboli and Lipari introduce the volcanic landscapes of the Aeolian Islands. Taormina rises above the Sicilian coast with views towards Mount Etna, before the journey moves into the quieter island scenery of western Greece.

During the days at sea, guests can experience the traditions of life aboard a tall ship through ship tours, knot-tying lessons, mast climbing, sail practices and introductions to navigation. Depending on sailing conditions, there may also be an opportunity to take the wheel under the supervision of the Captain or Officers.

Between activities, guests can relax in the Jacuzzi, swim, snorkel, kayak, windsurf or use the water slide when conditions allow. Full-board dining, spacious outdoor decks, internet access and a limited number of guests create a comfortable base throughout the crossing.
