Bike and Sail Cruise 2026. Athens - Corfu

Travel from Athens to Corfu aboard Running on Waves on an eight-day journey combining guided cycling, sailing and time on the Greek islands.

The route begins in the Saronic Gulf before passing through the Corinth Canal and continuing towards Central Greece, the western Peloponnese and the Ionian Islands. Along the way, guests cycle through Aegina, Delphi, Ancient Olympia, Zakynthos and Kefalonia, with each stage introducing a different landscape, from pistachio groves and mountain roads to coastal villages and clear-water bays.

Cycling becomes part of the daily rhythm of the voyage. Guided or independent routes lead to ancient archaeological sites, protected natural areas, caves, beaches and local villages, while Running on Waves carries guests between destinations. Road bikes are included, with e-bikes available as an optional upgrade.

Between rides, guests can recover on the open decks, relax in jacuzzi or use the ship’s kayaks, windsurf boards and snorkelling equipment. Onboard activities may also include sail handling and introductory mast-climbing sessions, depending on the weather and sailing programme.

Full-board dining, spacious outdoor areas and a limited number of guests create a comfortable base throughout the journey. This cruise is suited to active travellers who want to experience Greece from both land and sea, combining cycling, ancient history, island landscapes and life aboard a traditional tall ship.
